These days, it seems everyone and his brother has a way for consumers to "green" their lives, but it can get confusing to know what works and what, well, is just to puffery.

Today, June 5th, people across the world are uniting to celebrate World Environment Day. Originally established by the Untied Nation Environment Programme (UNEP), the day serves as a reminder to world citizens, business leaders and politicians to take action in helping restore Mama Earth.

NEW YORK (Reuters) A campaign founded in Europe to help consumers fight climate change will be launched in the United States on Thursday by U.S. Cities including New York, leading American companies and non-profit groups.
