British Gas has launched Zero Carbon, the greenest energy tariff on the market. It delivers more environmental benefits than any other and switching to it could reduce your impact on the climate by more than half.

British Gas has worked with Together to launch the greenest domestic energy tariff on the market: Zero Carbon.

• Dual fuel tariff – electricity and gas.

• Goes further than any other green tariff currently available to provide genuine environmental benefits, in particular CO₂ emissions reductions – as approved by The Climate Group.

• Offsets 100% of the CO₂ emissions from the energy that is supplied to you which could reduce your total impact by more than half.

• Encourages increased investment in renewable energy sources as it retires 12% additional ROCs on top of our obligation.

• Includes a contribution to the non-profit British Gas Energy for Tomorrow fund, which invests in verified carbon reduction projects.

The electricity that British Gas supplies has the lowest CO₂ emissions of the major energy suppliers in Great Britain.
