The National Trust is reducing its environmental footprint as a key part of conserving the nation’s natural and cultural heritage. We don’t have all the answers, but we can share our experience and practical solutions from managing our homes and gardens with our millions of supporters.
This summer, 17 National Trust sites are holding Big Green Days Out – fun events for families with the opportunity to discover useful ideas and solutions for their homes and lives. We are also keen to work with leading businesses and charities to stimulate new solutions that make greener choices easy, attractive and a normal part of everyday life.
We are currently working with nPower and Royal and Sun Alliance on green energy tariffs and insurance products. The Together campaign has been pioneering this approach and we are pleased to join and contribute to this collaboration.
