Climate change is happening now.
Temperatures are rising across the globe. Glaciers are melting. Sea levels are rising. Animal species are being disrupted.
So-called 'greenhouse gases' are to blame. With carbon dioxide as the worst offender.
We've done it to ourselves. The burning of fossil fuels – oil, coal, gas – is the largest source of greenhouse gases.
Electricity, cars, lights – all are fuelled by fossil fuels. Every minute, massive amounts of these resources are burnt, generating huge amounts of CO2.
The more C02 we release into the atmosphere, the more heat from the sun gets trapped, causing our world to get warmer and warmer...
If we do nothing, greenhouse gases will increase. Temperatures will rise. And our climate will become wilder and more unpredictable.
If sea levels rise, we'll see country-wide flooding in the UK. London, Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff will all be hit.
There's still time to do something about climate change. If we act now, and we act Together....
