The Climate Institute

Established in late 2005 with a philanthropic donation, The Climate Institute is a non-partisan, independent research organisation that works with community, business, unions and government to drive innovative and effective climate change solutions. We research. We educate. We communicate.

Our vision is for Australia to be a world leader in clean-energy technology and innovation, creating new jobs and investment and being highly competitive in the emerging global low-carbon economy.

Working together, with each doing their fair share, we can make the transition to a low carbon economy and avoid runaway climate change. Together we can hand on to our children a safe planet and a healthy economy.
