Yep, we know climate change can seem like a daunting problem. But doing something, even a small something, can help reduce emissions and your impact on the climate.
We believe that reducing emissions should be easy. That's why we've partnered with some top household names to produce a great range of products and ideas to help you do just that.
From low-cost eco car insurance and budget energy-saving light bulbs to free energy-saving kits and easy household tweaks to help you save energy and money. Each solution, idea, tip or tool on this site has been chosen because it really can make a difference.
Some are easy. Some are a challenge. But even if you commit to just a handful, you'll be well on your way to saving a tonne of CO2.
If you join in today, you can use the site to add-up all the CO2 savings you’re making – every day.
Even better, every time somebody takes up one of our partner’s products or ideas, the CO2 saving is added to the Togetheriser. So each action brings us closer to our targets – saving as many tonnes as all the households in our towns and cities.
We're starting small. The Orkney Islands. Stoke on Trent. Then getting bigger and bigger. Watch out Birmingham!
Who knows? Maybe soon every household in the country will have saved a tonne. Together!
Together is independently approved by The Climate Group, an international charity dedicated to working with big business and government to help solve climate change.
We don’t let just anyone join Together. We have a clear set of criteria that each partner in the campaign has to fulfil:
1. Partners must make a big commitment to reducing their own impact on the climate, and to helping you reduce yours. Have a look at what they’re doing here.
2. Every product or service our partners launch as part of the campaign must make a real, measurable difference. We work with them to ensure this.
3. Partners supply us with live data that we feed into The Togetheriser. We audit all the CO2 calculations to make sure you know the real difference we’re making together. Learn more about this here.
4. Most importantly we ensure that every product or service they offer through the campaign makes it easier or cheaper for you to do your bit and help tackle climate change.
